Greetings!
Merry Meet! The theme for these pages is no accident. For some reason Autumn calls to me in a way that no other season does, and it makes me feel a natural connection with my ancestors-- and those ancestors of us all, the witches who lived before us, which makes perfect sense when you consider the meaning behind Samhain. Also, the old barn theme and rustic New England images are here for a reason. In ancient days, many a coven met in secret, casting their circles and carrying out their rituals in the safety and seclusion of an old barn. Our downstairs family room is so decorated, the walls covered in rustic barn siding that was purchased when the owner of an old barn decided to tear it down. Our house is well-noted for paranormal activity and one day a visitor told me that she felt this is where the energy was coming from-- from the energy of the old barn that permeated our house. She also pointed out to me the fact that many a coven met in these barns. And while she, a fundamentalist Christian, was horrified at the thought; I was absolutely delighted!
There are many things about this site, this coven, and this webhost that I'm still working on and trying to figure out. This is not a project that's going to be put together in a few days, so bare with me. I expect to be working over the next several months in order to create on online coven that is unique, magickal and inviting, not to mention 'user friendly'. I consider this a birth process. |

Final decisions on coven applicants will be mine, and mine alone, as the High Priestess of Coven of Bristolwicks. Other decisions relating to members and membership, banning members, as well as making exceptions to the membership rules under unusual circumstances, are also my call.
Bright Blessings,
